Acquisitions and Logistics
Contract Specialist
Contract specialists are responsible for procuring supplies and services in a responsible and efficient manner while adhering to statutory compliance and maintaining a focus on customer support. They are responsible for the planning, award, and administration of various contracts including supplies, services, construction, and research and development.

Independent Contractors
Contract Linguist
Independent contract linguists provide interpretation and translation services, as well as cultural expertise. Independent contract linguist opportunities are available in many major U.S. metropolitan areas.
Special Requirements
Contract linguists are considered self-employed and are not eligible to receive government benefits. They earn an hourly rate as determined by their language proficiency levels.
Contract linguists are required to work on-site and perform work as mutually agreed upon with the local FBI office. Travel opportunities for this role are possible.
Those interested in the contract linguist opportunity must pass all of our eligibility requirements, complete a background investigation and polygraph, and be able to receive a Top Secret clearance.

Forensic Accountant
Forensic accountants are our financial experts and investigate national security matters, white-collar crimes such as corporate fraud and public corruption, counterterrorism, and cyber crimes, to name a few. Your expertise can be applied towards a variety of investigations and case work.

Healthcare and Counseling
Employee Assistance Counselor
Employee assistance counselors provide our employees with mental and occupational health assistance, including paths for rehabilitation. Coordinators locate support groups and arrange visits to medical facilities for employees.
Occupational Health Nurse
Occupational health nurses assess and treat routine and emergency health care needs of our workforce. Occupational health nurses also facilitate Fitness-for-Duty examinations and maintain quality control measures.

Victim Services
Victim Specialist
Victim specialists provide direct services to victims of all types of crime investigated by the FBI, including violent crime and acts of terrorism. The victim specialist routinely provides crisis intervention, resources, and education as the internal and external liaison for victim-related matters.

FBI Police
Police Officer
Police officers play a key role in keeping the FBI and surrounding areas secure. They provide service to those in their duty stations and travel to aid in times of crisis.
Special Requirements
All police officer applicants require a pre-employment Fitness-for-Duty medical examination.
New appointees must complete a 12-week Uniformed Police Officer Training Program in Glynco, GA. After graduating, police officers will receive four weeks of specialized instruction at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA and five weeks of on-the-job training at their permanent assigned location.

Automotive Equipment Specialist
Automotive equipment specialists perform routine and emergency services on all FBI-owned vehicles, including emergency response vehicles, tactical vehicles, and police pursuit units.

Engineering
Electronics Engineer
Electronics engineers design, implement, test, and operate electronic circuits and systems. They assist with the technical analysis of electronic devices and digital evidence. Electronics engineers may also manage system projects which require planning, cost analysis, and implementation.
Electronics Technician
Electronics technicians install and maintain land mobile radio systems, data network systems, and electronic security systems, as well as offer tactical support.
